Report for America is a highly competitive program that places early-career journalists in newsrooms. Researched and interviewed sources to write between two and five stories a week on more than 50 school districts in five counties, managing both short and long–term projects and collaborating with reporters on other beats. Filled in to cover other beats, including courts, county government, sports, and features.
